Zac is in high demand for his business nous. He runs regular workshops in Australasia on planning and strategy, facilitates business sessions, and sits on numerous boards. Before he ventured out on his own to help others achieve success, Zac worked for or ran several successful and well-known businesses – in the early 2000s Zac was the CFO for Flight Centre, based in the Brisbane head office, running a team of 250 finance people across the world. A chartered accountant by trade, Zac’s been told that he is lucky to have a great grasp of the softer side of business, too – innovation, strategy, customer experience, people and culture. Under his reign as managing director at Barkers Mens Clothing, the company won the best workplace in the country accolade as well as the MYOB Best Customer Experience Award.
Zac runs the business planning & strategy workshops with his wife, Sip de Silva. A successful businesswoman in her own right, Sip has a particular passion for customer experience, crafted from her years owning and running hospitality and property development ventures.
